The Program
Structure that supports real recovery.
Straightway isn't just a place to sleep — it's a framework for rebuilding your life. Our program combines accountability, community, and daily structure to give residents the best chance at lasting sobriety.
What to Expect
From your first day, you'll be part of a community that holds each other accountable. Our house rules and daily schedule aren't punishments — they're the foundation of a life that works.
Sobriety First
Zero tolerance for alcohol or drugs on the premises. Random testing keeps everyone safe and accountable.
Active Participation
Residents are required to attend house meetings, maintain employment or active job searching, and contribute to the household.
Mutual Respect
We are a community. Respect for fellow residents, staff, and the home itself is non-negotiable.
Ongoing Support
Weekly check-ins with house staff, peer mentorship, and connections to local recovery resources.
A Typical Day
Routine is one of the most powerful tools in recovery. Here's what a structured day at Straightway looks like.
6:30 – 8:00 am
Morning routine
Wake up, personal hygiene, breakfast, and morning reflection.
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Work or job search
All residents are expected to be employed or actively seeking work during daytime hours.
5:00 – 7:00 pm
Dinner & free time
Shared meals are encouraged. Evenings are time to decompress, connect with peers, or attend meetings.
7:00 – 8:00 pm
Recovery meetings
Residents are required to attend a minimum of 3 AA/NA or equivalent meetings per week.
8:00 pm
Quiet hours begin
All residents must be in the home. Noise and visitors are not permitted after this time.
9:00 pm
Curfew
Lights out and all residents accounted for. Exceptions require prior staff approval.
